The Roxy Theater

First opening its doors in 1937, The Roxy Theater has been a staple in the Missoula community for nearly a century. It has seen Missoula in all of its modern forms. We were truly honored to make their web presence both beautiful and much easier to use. Check it out!

The Design

Our creative team knew that in order to do The Roxy justice, we needed to keep the essence of who they are alive in their web presence. We started with a dark, moody, theatrical color palette with bright neon accents; a nod to the theater’s gorgeous marquee.

Beyond the look, the functionality through a system called Agile was imperative to the success of the project. After digging through the code, our development team was able to find ways to make the system both visually appealing and simple for the end user.

The Converge Foundation team really enjoyed working with Gecko Designs. It was our first foray into a professional website, and we had lots of ideas and much to consider.
